congratulations Saint Joseph graduates of the class of 2023 the big event is coming and this information session will provide you with the details necessary for your event to be memorable and the true celebration of Who You Have Become during your time at St Joseph and what you have accomplished both as a group and as individuals we are very pleased that we are able to host at traditional in-person graduation ceremony again this year it will place on Thursday June 29th 2023 at Saint Ann Center as a Catholic school we are proud to acknowledge your graduation from St Joseph's through the attainment of the Ontario secondary school diploma the Ontario secondary school store the kit or the certificate of achievement graduates and their guests are invited to gather for mass at 5 p.m. and then proceed to the hall the graduation ceremony will begin promptly at 6:30 p.m. we have an exceptionally large graduating class to satisfy the legal seating capacity of the Parish Hall graduates will receive two guest tickets graduates will receive these tickets and their downs at the graduation rehearsal on June pink graduates themselves do not need a ticket a very limited number of additional tickets have been held in reserve no more than two per graduate to accommodate exceptional situations please complete the Microsoft forms additional ticket requests the graduation fee is $80 collection of fees your gown size and your RSVP for the ceremony is exclusively through the school cash online by Friday April 20th 2023 please see Mr. Sefeldas before April 14th 2023 if you have concerns about payment late orders unfortunately cannot be processed we are limited to what the gallon companies at States the graduation fee includes your gown mortarboard or cap and tassel a program of the event a souvenir full dirt and an 11 x 14 composite photograph of the graduating class congratulatory certificates and a crucifix if you are not attending the fee is $65 payable through the main office your graduation ceremony is a special celebration and wearing your purse drip clothing ball help you and your guests appreciate the solemnity of the day picture taking is one of the Hallmarks of graduation wearing dress clothes underneath your gown results and much better photos remember this is graduation not prom are you want to be dressed up but not overly formal your outfit needs to be comfortable to sit and walk across the stage in even though the Parish Hall is air-conditioned it will still be very warm as we are a large group if you choose to wear dress please keep it mum most comfortable and beautiful for your pictures if you choose pants they should be dress pants with a collared shirt or blouse your accessory should complete and complement your professional look shoes should be comfortable for standing and walking remember will be walking up stairs or a ramp and across the stage to receive your diploma no flip-flops please remember you will be dressed up and your shoes should compliment your outfit and the occasion this is your graduation this milestone Bantu comes with important responsibilities your guests are counting on you to share the details of the event and the school is counting on you to submit your RSVP and gown order by April 20th 2023 if you have concerns about payment you need to reach out to mr. Berry in the guidance office no later than Friday June 3rd 2023 please keep in mind they must be volunteer hours that would not be performed for Waze students who have been unsuccessful in any of their semester 1 courses have dropped a course or have repeated as successful course to upgrade a Mark will need to review their graduation status in my blueprint under graduation in Decatur and the graduation list to be posted in guidance also course and it is one of the required courses needed to complete their ossd they will not be symbol for graduation as graduation draws closer the graduates will have an opportunity to select a valedictorian the nomination form is available in the main office Mrs mahoski will also be emailing it out to the do it in class the Schools administration and graduation committee good like students names to be brought forward for nomination for the privilege of acting as a valedictorian for the st. Joseph's graduating class of 2023 by April 28th best candidate for valedictorian will need specific criteria nomination form a student record of behaviour contributing to a school in a positive manner they will have earned the respect of their peers regarding work at the organization and self motivation demonstrated maturity as a Young Adam who is respectful of the faith of the school and mentored by a designated teacher with regards to the composition or her salt and delivery of a speech of approximately 10 must be assured raining in June of the current Academic Year and they must be endorsed by the school administration as a candidate in good standing by April 28th 2023 Chris weidman's very important dates April 20th 28 and 10:00 in the morning in our cafeteria at is the graduation rehearsal you will receive so it's important that you are there and of course the most important is your graduation day June 29th these next two slides contain frequently asked questions and their responses please check for any questions that you may have the information you seek is not included anywhere else in his presentation please reach out Mister Williams congratulations graduate it's going to be a wonderful graduation ceremony
