Grade 8 Non-LDCSB Student Registration

2024-2025 NON-LDCSB ELEMENTARY STUDENT REGISTRATION:

 

In order to complete your registration to attend St. Joseph’s Catholic High School you must complete the following steps by Friday, February 23, 2024.

 

  1. Complete the Online Registration Form beginning January 8, 2024.  It can be found at Secondary Registration at LDCSB.  (Please remember to select the 2024-2025 school year).  This should be completed where possible by Friday, February 23, 2024. 
  2. Pay the Student Activity and Lock Fee ($50.50) paid via Cash Online via CashOnline via the following link: Click Here to Pay the Grade 9 Student Activity Fee
  3. Once completed, SJHS will review your registration form and documents and you will be contacted by email to complete the 'next steps' of the registration process.  You will need to provide a report card and an IEP (if applicable).  At this time, we will provide the course selection information and students will have the opportunity to select their courses.  Grade 8 students are required to select 8 courses and 2 alternatives.  Of the 8 courses, 7 are required courses: Religion, Math, Science, English, French, Geography and Technology Course (NEW starting 2024-2025, each student must complete 1 junior level Tech Course). Students will also need to complete an Art credit before entering grade 11 and a Physical Education credit to earn their OSSD.

Course Calendar:

The course calendar for St. Joseph's shows the courses being offered for the 2024-25 school year.  You can access the course calendar here​.

 

Once the above steps are completed and reviewed, a guidance counsellor will be in touch to confirm that your registration is complete and answer any questions you may have.

 

Summer School Registration

  1. Summer school registration will open on January 8, 2024, until June 14, 2024, for all non-LDCSB grade 8 to 12 students.
  2. Registration for summer school closes June 14th.
