Library
St. Joseph's High School Library is managed by a professional librarian who can assist you with all your reading and research needs. The library boasts of a large and inviting space with worktables and a lounge area for comfortable reading.
A variety of fiction books, an extensive non-fiction collection, and several on-line subscription databases for research are available and accessible for all students. Chromebook devices are available for student use during the school day.
Research undeniably and repeatedly shows clear links between student achievement and the existence of libraries stocked with a variety of resources, and staffed by qualified librarians who collaborate with teachers.
Etiquette
- The library is for quiet studying, research and reading.
- Loan period for books is 3 weeks – you can renew items up to 3 times.
- Overdue notices are sent by email.
- There are no fines on overdue items, however;
- Lost or damaged book replacement charges apply.
- Chromebooks are for schoolwork and browsing.
