Conestoga College is accepting applications for our Agricultural Equipment Operator Pilot program. The program is funded by the federal and provincial governments, with a student program fee of $500.

The program will prepare students for in-demand careers in the agriculture sector. Program delivery includes theory and hands-on experience in agricultural equipment repair, powered equipment maintenance, agricultural techniques as well as agricultural equipment operation. In addition, there is exposure in welding, safety, computer applications and academic upgrading.  Starting in January  2021, the  program will be offered at Conestoga's Brantford Aviation campus and runs full-time during the day for 16 weeks

The Bill Eansor Award - $10,000 Scholarship!

The University of Windsor is proud to award over $11 million in scholarships each year. We encourage you to share this opportunity with your students. The Bill Eansor Award is named in memory of the late A.W. "Bill" Eansor '49, who had an outstanding record of leadership at the University of Windsor and who was active in the Alumni Association. This award is presented on the basis of leadership ability, community and school involvement, and academic standing.

One award of $10,000 ($2,500 x 4 years) will be made each year to an undergraduate student entering the University of Windsor in first year. This award is not tenable with other major awards. Students must first be accepted for admission to the University, be registered as a full-time student (four courses per semester towards an undergraduate degree) and maintain a minimum average of 80 percent. UBC Indigenous Recruitment

Looking for a more detailed workshop about the application process? Register for the Indigenous Application Workshop on November 4 (5:00 –6:30pm PST) or November 21 (10:00am–11:30am PST). Indigenous recruiter advisors will walk students through a demonstration of the application process, provide tips on how to apply for Indigenous student awards, and describe the programs and services available to Indigenous students on both campuses. These events are open to prospective Indigenous students and their support networks from across the country.

 

Memorial University Newfoundland and Labrador's University

Memorial University has moved its Application for Admission (Undergraduate, Graduate and Marine Institute applications) to a new platform that allows for an improved user experience by making the application more responsive and offering better functionality.  The new platform also incorporates the functionality to implement Confirmation of Admission and Tuition Fee Deposit as approved by Senate in March 2019 for Fall 2021 implementation.  The application introduces a responsive user interface with the ability for the user to upload unofficial documentation and student-generated documentation directly to their application. It will also introduce improved payment options, user access to the submitted application information, and communication regarding application requirements.  Students can now access the Application for Admission for Fall (September) 2021
