best recitation will assist you in selecting your courses through my blueprint if it's possible to use Google Chrome we definitely recommend that you use Google Chrome in order to do your course selection in my blueprint in order to log into your myblueprint account go to your ldcsb space and go into your virtual learning environment and in your learning toolkit you will see a slide for my blueprint it's blue with a white m once you log into my blueprint will be taken to your dashboard click on plan courses in order to select your high school courses for next year actually add your courses in to your high-school plan so you'll notice that the next how long are the next year where you're going to select your courses should be outlined and you simply will go in and select your courses there stop for involves reviewing your course elections. We definitely want you to review these before you submit them once they are sick you cannot go back and change them so you can go in at anytime make courses change courses but once you've reviewed them then you're ready to submit but you cannot go back and make edits once you've submitted them this review point is really important you must also select to Alternative choices and these will only be used if your first choices cannot fit into your timetable please make sure that these are actually courses that you would like to take in the event that we can't give you your original selections because we may select from these the next step in your course selection is to submit your courses so literally you were going to go up to the boxes estimate courses please Steve review them before you do that please remember that your course selections need to be submitted between February 1st and February 21st in previous years we've asked you to print the sign-off sheet habits and I parent and bring it into your homeroom teacher this is not something that we are requiring this year so you do not need to print off the sign off sheet this year one of the things that you're going to be asked to do this year that we haven't had is it going to be asked to send the approval email to a parent and the reason for that is so that we get rid of any sort of paper copy that needs to be returned to the school so this way you're simply sending your courses to a parent your email and they're able to Simply click for approval so all you need to do or to be prepared to do is to make sure that you have a parent email that they look up frequently so that you can send that email to parent for approval this is basically what a parent's going to get it's going to say who the student is the courses that they've picked and so on as well as their alternate course elections and all your parent has to do one open the email is approved. Course selection once it's approved if it was successful and that part of the process is done if you want to be doubly sure but everything's been approved by your parents can go back to your high-school plan and you'll notice that it should say approved with a check mark it should also have the date that your parent approved it every student needs to pay their student fee of $40 that can be done through school cash online and you can get to that through the ldcsb website and on our school website so just to go over the plan step one going to go into your myblueprint stays you're going to play in your courses select them review them submit them and pay your student fee course elections are due by Friday February 23rd the student fee of $40 is also due at that time everything should be submitted through my blueprint if for any reason you're not returning next year please select not returning in my blueprint but remember this indicates to us that you are not returning to st. Joe's that you will not be selecting courses with us make sure that your courses are all submitted through my blueprint by Friday February 23rd If you have any questions or concerns you can always reach out to your guidance counsellor for help go to our school website or look through your my blueprint space
